'' Are you that guy..'? ''Yes, yes it's me'' Recognized!
One of the most awesome things happen to me yesterday, I was on my way to the gym to buy a new card (since I am terrible keeping tracks on my things, anyway) and a guy, whom I never even seen before comes up to me and asked me, ''Are you that guy who's going to climb Olympus''?.
Surpised and a bit intrigued (and not cocky at all I answered), 'Yes, yes it's me..''.
He told me that he was really impressed and that he also wanted to do something remarkable like that and he gave me, at least what I thought, alot of credit for my dedication and my goal.
Random things like that can really give you a major push..and pressure..I mean, what if I now, after this, fail my atempt to climb Olympus? Or something else occurs that prevent me for accomplishing this or forces me to postpone it?
But even so, I don't think that this will happen, but in case - then there is one thing, and this is the case in all of the goals and journeys that I and you guys set out for yourself.
And that is;
''Don't be blinded by the goal, to forget about the journey''..
Even if you don't reach your goal, you have accomplished so much more then what you think, the journey itself, the people you've meet and the things and knowledge that you have gained can sometimes be worth more then actually reaching the goal.
If you look back at everything that you have done, and when you fell down and felt like there was nothing more to give, you then start to pick yourself up and with your friends and family supporting you, you will eventually gain the confident to open a new door and set out for a goal.
''While it is always best to believe in one's self, a little help from others can be a great blessing..'' Wise words to live by, sadly I am not the one originally saying those, but I know that many of you out there will relate.
Aiight guys, I am off for work. Keep working hard and remember to aim high and fight!
